Event Description:From 7 to 8 p.m. Annie Heath, a certified nurse-midwife who has spent 20 years working with Hispanic communities nationally and internationally will visit MHC to talk about her path through Peace Corps to nursing/midwifery.
From 8 to 9 p.m. Annie will discuss her role with Proyecto ADAMES, a non-profit organization helping women in the Dominican Republic to reduce complications while giving birth. There is a new education component which may be of interest to students who are considering teaching or special education as a career.
