On Martin Luther King Day (January 21), Mount Holyoke's spring orientation students will participate in the South Hadley "neighbors helping neighbors food drive."

To support the food drive, MHC's Community-Based Learning Program is presenting a panel discussion on the issues of food insecurity and hunger in the Pioneer Valley. Panelists include staff members of the South Hadley Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Pantry and Gardening The Community of Springfield. The panelists will make suggestions about how students and others may get involved in these projects.

The discussion is free and open to the public.
